It already looks like I'm in the wrong time zone, but I guess for me that's normal......Being an RN, and out of work for the last g-- d--- month because of my gimpy foot is causing me STRESS. No money, I just used up all my sick time last week. This isn't helping my self imposed hibernation that began oh let's see...2-3 years ago. I did kick my a-- today, and while I didn't work out on my ellipse I did mail some letters, go grocery shopping(which I actually like), and plant my herb seeds. Which my cats promptly took an interest to, I wonder how long those pots will last on that table. Anyway, I live alone with 3 cats, and an evil chihuahua, hence huahuaville, but more on that interesting aspect of this swinging single another time. I am to start work in the SICU(surgical intensive care unit) next Monday the 22nd. I was working on the floor with transplant(liver,kidney),trauma, and post-op(mainly belly surgeries), so I am not only going back to work after a month off but also to the ICU, and though I really want to work in the ICU I'm afraid. I want to learn quickly, and be awesome, and have everyone like me, okay have everyone tolerate me. I really need this ICU experience to get into Nursing Anesthesia school, which is one of my main goals at the moment. Just finished ACLS last week and that was a pain in the arse. I just finished listening to CCR greatest hits, and now I have VAST on--I love the song touched. I must embrace it...........Karen
